General information, not personal advice

Everything you read on priveskinclinic.com — treatment pages, journal articles, FAQs, pricing notes — is written to give you a general understanding of the procedures we offer. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a one-to-one consultation with a qualified clinician who has reviewed your individual circumstances.

Outcomes vary from person to person. Reading this site does not create a clinician–patient relationship.

Before any treatment

Every treatment at Prive Skin Clinic begins with a face-to-face consultation. Together we will go through:

  • Your relevant medical history, medications and allergies
  • What the treatment can realistically achieve, and what it can't
  • Possible side effects, downtime and recovery
  • Costs, in writing, before you decide to go ahead

You will be asked to sign an informed-consent form for each treatment. Take the time to read it — and ask any questions, no matter how small.

Prescription-only medications

Treatments involving prescription-only medications — including anti-wrinkle injections (botulinum toxin) and weight-loss programmes (Mounjaro®, Wegovy®, Saxenda®) — are prescribed by UK-registered prescribers and dispensed by GPhC-registered pharmacies. Eligibility depends on a satisfactory medical review.

If you experience a problem after treatment

Please get in touch as soon as you can. Most concerns are minor and easily addressed. Call us on the number above for anything that feels urgent — we will usually arrange to see you the same day.

For medical emergencies that are not aesthetic-treatment related, please contact NHS 111, your GP, or call 999.
