Chemical peels
A controlled, customised peel — not the dramatic dermatology-clinic flake.
What it is
Chemical peels use specific acid blends — glycolic, lactic, salicylic, mandelic, TCA at low percentages — to remove the upper layers of dead skin and accelerate cell turnover. Done well, you don't see dramatic shedding; you see steadily clearer, brighter skin over a course of treatments.
We tailor the peel to your skin type and goal. Lactic and mandelic for sensitive skin; salicylic for oily and acne-prone; TCA for stubborn pigmentation under careful protocol.
What it treats
- Pigmentation and uneven tone
- Active acne and acne scarring
- Sun damage
- Dull, congested skin
- Mild fine lines
How it works
- 1 Skin is cleansed and prepped.
- 2 The chosen peel is applied in measured layers; we monitor the skin response throughout.
- 3 A neutralising solution is applied, followed by a protective barrier.
- 4 A course of 3–6 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart, depending on the depth of peel.

FAQs
Will I peel visibly?
Most of our peels are designed for minimal visible flaking — you'll feel smoother skin, see brighter tone, but you shouldn't be hiding indoors for a week. Deeper TCA peels do cause more visible peeling and we plan those around your calendar.
Are peels safe in darker skin?
Yes — with the right peel choice. Lactic and mandelic peels are particularly safe for Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin. We avoid more aggressive options unless specifically appropriate.
When can I exercise after?
Not the same day for medium-depth peels — sweat can irritate the skin. Surface peels are fine after 24 hours.
