Skin boosters
Quiet, injected hydration that reads as good skin — not as filler.
What it is
Skin boosters are injected hydrators — hyaluronic acid, amino acids, or polynucleotides — placed at multiple small points across an area to improve hydration, texture and elasticity. Unlike filler, they don't add volume to a specific feature. They make the whole canvas read better.
We use three product families: Profhilo (a bio-stimulator that improves bounce), Nucleofill (a polynucleotide that improves regeneration and texture), and Seventy Hyal (a deeply-hydrating booster that suits younger skin or surface-level concerns). The right one for you depends on what your skin needs and how soon you want to see it.
What it treats
- Dehydrated, dull skin that no amount of serum seems to fix
- Fine crepiness on the cheek, neck or décolletage
- Loss of bounce and elasticity in your 30s and 40s
- A general "tired" appearance, even after sleep
How it works
- 1 We discuss what you're hoping to achieve. From there we decide which product, how many sessions, and over what timeline.
- 2 Numbing cream sits on the skin for 15 minutes.
- 3 Injections placed at standardised points — five per side for the face is typical, more if treating neck or hands.
- 4 You go home. Small raised bumps at injection sites settle within 24 hours.
- 5 A second session usually follows in 4 weeks.

FAQs
How do skin boosters differ from filler?
Filler adds volume to a specific feature like a lip or cheek. Skin boosters spread hydration across an area without changing the shape of anything. The point of skin boosters is glow, not contour.
How many sessions do I need?
A starting course is usually two sessions four weeks apart, then a single maintenance session every 6 months. Some clients are happy with just one.
Profhilo vs Nucleofill — how do I choose?
Profhilo is the most-asked-for booster in the UK — it spreads after injection and stimulates collagen and elastin broadly. Nucleofill is more regenerative and a slower build but excellent for tired, post-summer skin and the under-eye area. We discuss which fits in your consultation.
