Non-surgical rhinoplasty
Refining the bridge, the tip and the angles — without surgery, and entirely reversible.
What it is
Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses small amounts of hyaluronic-acid filler to refine the shape of the nose — straightening the bridge, lifting the tip, softening a dorsal hump or correcting asymmetry from injury. It is a precise, in-clinic procedure with no general anaesthetic, no break from work, and full reversibility.
It cannot make a nose smaller. Counter-intuitive but true: by smoothing the line of a bump, the nose can look smaller, but the volume is being added not removed. If you want a smaller nose, a surgical rhinoplasty is the right conversation — and we will say so.
What it treats
- A dorsal hump on the bridge
- A drooping or downturned tip
- Asymmetry from injury or natural variation
- A subtle deviation that bothers you in photographs
- Side-profile imbalance
How it works
- 1 We assess the nose from three angles in your consultation — front, three-quarter and profile. We discuss what is achievable with filler and, if relevant, what would be better addressed surgically.
- 2 Numbing cream sits on the skin for 20 minutes.
- 3 Tiny amounts of a stiffer, structural filler are placed along the bridge and at the tip, usually with a blunt cannula for safety.
- 4 You see the result immediately. Most refinements are 0.4–0.8 ml total.
- 5 Two-week review included.
What to expect
Appointment time
30 minutes including numbing
Downtime
Minimal — a small chance of bruising at the tip or at the base of the nostrils. Most clients return to normal the same day.
How it feels
Pressure during; tenderness for a day or two afterwards.
Aftercare
No glasses resting on the bridge for two weeks if filler was placed there. No facial massage or pressure on the area for two weeks. Avoid sleeping face-down.
Results visible
Immediate
How long they last
12–18 months — one of the longer-lasting filler areas because it sits in a low-movement zone
Is this right for you?
A good fit if
- A small refinement is what you want — straighter profile, lifted tip
- You've considered surgical rhinoplasty and want a less permanent first step
- You're prepared to maintain every 12–18 months
Not the right time if
- You want a smaller nose (filler adds; surgery removes)
- You have a history of vascular complications or rosacea around the nose
- You've had multiple previous non-surgical rhinoplasty treatments elsewhere with build-up of filler
FAQs
Is it safe?
In skilled hands, very. The nose has a tighter vascular supply than other facial areas, which is why technique matters more here than almost anywhere. We use a blunt cannula where possible, work in small volumes, and have hyaluronidase on hand. This is not a treatment to take to a non-medical practitioner.
How long does it last?
Twelve to eighteen months — among the longest-lasting filler areas, because the nose moves very little.
Can it make my nose smaller?
No. Filler adds volume. We can make the nose look straighter and the profile more balanced, which sometimes reads as smaller, but if reduction is what you want, surgery is the right answer.
Can I have it dissolved?
Yes. Hyaluronidase reverses the filler. We can dissolve in a single visit if you change your mind or if previous work elsewhere needs resetting.
