Foxy eye thread lift
A gentle, lateral lift at the tail of the brow — a millimetre changes everything.
What it is
A targeted PDO thread treatment that lifts the lateral brow and softens hooding of the upper lid. The effect is closer to a well-rested look than a dramatic change — done properly, it should be hard to point to.
It is one of the most-Googled treatments on TikTok, and one of the most variable in execution. The good versions look natural; the bad versions look surprised. Technique matters here more than almost any other thread procedure.
What it treats
- A flat or downturned brow tail
- Mild hooding at the outer upper lid
- A tired-looking eye area without yet needing surgical blepharoplasty
- Mild asymmetry between brows
How it works
- 1 We mark the lift vectors above the temple in front of a mirror — you see what we plan to do.
- 2 Local anaesthetic at the entry point.
- 3 A fine cannula introduces two or three threads per side, anchored in the temporal area and drawn back to lift the brow tail.
- 4 The whole appointment is around 45 minutes.
What to expect
Appointment time
45 minutes
Downtime
Mild swelling and possible bruising at the temples for 3–5 days.
How it feels
Local anaesthetic numbs the entry point. Pressure during, no real pain.
Aftercare
Sleep on your back for a week. No facials, saunas, vigorous exercise or eyebrow grooming for two weeks. Avoid extreme facial expressions.

Is this right for you?
A good fit if
- You have a mildly downturned outer brow that you would like lifted by a couple of millimetres
- You're prepared for a subtle, hard-to-pin-down result rather than a dramatic eye shape change
Not the right time if
- You have significant excess upper-eyelid skin (surgical blepharoplasty conversation)
- You're chasing the look of a specific celebrity who has likely had multiple procedures
- You're under 25 and have not yet had any actual descent in the area
FAQs
How dramatic is the change?
Subtle. Most clients describe it as "looking more awake." Friends notice that you look rested rather than that you have had anything done.
Is it the same as a brow lift?
A brow lift lifts the whole brow; foxy eyes targets only the lateral third. Some clients combine the two for a fuller frame.
How long does it last?
Nine to twelve months on average. Top-up sessions tend to need less product over time.
